6.8A-instructions

On/Off/Menu:
1. ON – Press and release button till you arrive at desired color/flash pattern. (R/Y/G/B or IR/R/G/B)
2. OFF/UNLOCK – Press and hold button down for 3 seconds (3 Second Rule)
3. (R/Y/G/B) E/T Lights will LOCK in your color selection once the selection has been left on for over 3 seconds. You will NOT be able to change the locked selection or turn it off by clicking the switch. To UNLOCK, turn off (3 Second Rule). (Note you can reprogram V6.8A and V6.8IR to have the LOCK feature activated or not activated.)

Reprogram sequence, only for version 6.8A and 6.8IR:
1. Hold switch down until you see the LED’s flash twirl on very fast (Aprox. 12 seconds), DO NOT look away or you will miss the flash twirl. (The LED flash twirl is how the E/T Light advises you it is ready to receive your input.)
2. RELEASE the switch and within 2 seconds of seeing the LED’s flash twirl start clicking the switch, click once for mode 1, click twice for mode 2, click three times for mode 3, etc….
3. When you get to the mode you desire, HOLD the switch down until you see the green LED flash. (By holding the switch down you are telling the software this is the program I want.) Ex. if you want mode 7 you click seven times and hold the switch down on the seventh click till you see the green LED flash.
4. When Green LED flashes release the switch. (The green light tells you it has the new mode in active memory.)
5. If at any time you see the red LED flash the E/T Light is telling you START OVER (it did not understand your instructions and kept the last program in memory.) Turn Off (3 Second Rule) and restart reprogram sequence from the beginning.

Battery replacement:
1. Remove silicon end cap.
2. Push down & slide metal back plate off.
3. Pinch the E/T Light along the metal strap guides (one found on either side of the battery tube). One guide follows the button down to the base.
4. While holding the pinch, shake the E/T Light and battery will slide out.
5. Replace the battery “tip in/flat out”
6. Slide the metal back plate back in place
7. Test function and replace silicon end cap
Note – Battery is in very tight by design.

Pressing and releasing the pushbutton starts a 2 second delay timer during
which time no LED’s are illuminated. 2 seconds after the release of the pushbutton all 4 LED’s strobe fast
for 2 ½ seconds and then automatically switch OFF. If the pushbutton is pressed and released once or
multiple times during 2 second delay before strobing, the 2 second delay is restarted each time the
button is released. However, if the pushbutton is held depressed for more than 3 seconds continuous,
the unit switches OFF and does not strobe
